Padel

Introduction

The NET Sports Hall has five padel courts on the third floor, which can be reserved individually or all at once. You can also host sports-themed birthday parties and organize tournaments here.

Padel is a simple and exciting racket sport suitable for players of all ages. It is played as a doubles match (two against two), making it a great way to socialize. No prior experience is needed to enjoy padel—just a good mood and fun partners. Unlike tennis, the serve is underhand, and wall shots are allowed, which adds excitement to the game. To play, you’ll need a padel racket and balls, which you can rent or buy at our facility. We recommend wearing indoor shoes that provide good traction on the artificial turf. The scoring system in padel is similar to tennis and uses the traditional 15-30-40 game scoring. You can find the detailed rules of padel on the Estonian Padel Federation’s website.

Mixed pairs

Overall Information

  • Mixed pairs’ tournaments in the new season will take place in two skill groups. We start with the Beginner/Beginner+ level at 16:30, followed by the Intermediate/Advanced level at 18:=0 on the following date: May 24.
  • Up to 10 pairs are expected in each strength group for each stage.
  • The session is scheduled to last up to 1.5 hours for beginners and 2 hours for intermediate and advanced players.
  • The main sponsor of the mixed doubles is Tartu Mill!

Rules

  • Each game lasts 15–20 minutes.
  • The tournament will be held either in a round-robin format (every team plays every other team) or divided into groups, depending on the number of registered teams. The tournaments will be played with a fixed partner!
  • The game begins and ends with a whistle.
  • A deciding point is played when the score is 40-40. If the final whistle blows and the score is less than 40-40, the last game does not count. If the score is exactly 40-40, another deciding point must be played.
  • The game could end in a tie. A win is worth 2 points, a draw is worth 1 point.
  • The winner is determined by points, but if multiple teams have the same number of points, the total number of games won is considered.
  • The best pair will be awarded a prize. We also keep a cumulative score across all stages, so points can be earned toward the overall standings at each stage.
  • Points are awarded to participants in each stage as follows: 1st place – 5 points, 2nd place – 4 points, 3rd place – 3 points, and all other participants – 2 points.

Participation

  • A confirmation email will be sent at the beginning of the same week, prior to the start of the tournament stage.
  • The participation fee is €25 per player, payable by invoice before the start of the tournament stage. The invoice will be sent to your email.
  • You can cancel your participation no later than 24 hours before the start of the tournament by emailing lilian@netsport.ee or calling +372 551 9583. If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the event, the participation fee will not be refunded.
